Meet our expert, Rebecca “Becky” Cole

A toy isn’t plastic and packaging. It’s the spark in a kid’s eyes when they forget the world and sink into play. I’ve spent years in classrooms watching children invent games with cardboard boxes while expensive gadgets sat untouched. That taught me what really matters: imagination.
At Choice Reviews, I look at toys through that lens. Does it inspire? Does it teach? Does it bring joy? I’ll talk about safety and durability, of course, but also about the invisible magic that turns a puzzle into a breakthrough or a doll into a friend.
Play isn’t trivial. It’s how children learn to solve problems, test limits, and connect with others. My reviews exist to protect that magic from the clutter of gimmicks.
